Options R-104M “Cedar”

Modification R-104M “Kedr” became the most famous: this transceiver telephone and telegraph HF radio station with amplitude modulation and mechanical half-duplex was produced since 1955. Four sub-variants were produced:

automobile (portable) Р-104М
stationary (box) R-104UM
wearable R-104UMU

Portable sets of radio stations were transported in UAZ-469 and could work on the go and when parked. In the car radio station R-104M3, a radio station R-105M with a power amplifier UM-3 was installed to provide communication on the move and in the parking lot. In the R-104M modification, this kit was not originally available, but it was possible to install VHF radio stations of the R-105M, R-108M and R-109M types. Recharging could be carried out from the car’s generator.
