Army portable short-wave simplex radio station R-104M “Kedr”
Modification R-104M “Kedr” became the most famous: this transceiver telephone and telegraph HF radio station with amplitude modulation and mechanical half-duplex was produced since 1955. It was produced in four versions:

R-104UM wearable
R-104UMU The transporters worked at full power and were transported by car.
The wearables operated at reduced power and were carried by two radio operators.
Operating frequency range: 1.5 – 4.25 MHz.
The first subband: 1.5 – 2.88 MHz.
Second subband: 2.88 – 4.25 MHz.
Modulation: AM and CW. Power supply: 4.8 V.
Transmitter type: smooth local oscillator.
Receiver type: single conversion superheterodyne.
