The R-311 “Omega” is a Soviet self-powered shortwave military radio receiver produced from 1954 to the mid-1970s.
Designed to receive telegraph and telephone radio signals in the frequency range from 1 to 15 MHz. The radio receiver is made according to the superheterodyne circuit on eight lamps of the 2Zh27L type. Power source options: Battery 2KN-24 and vibration transducer VP-3M2 (continuous operation time not less than 12 hours) Battery 2KN-24 and anode battery BAS-80 (continuous operation time not less than 24 hours) AC 127 or 220 V via a rectifier VS-3
