R-105M “Sail-3” type radio station – knapsack, wearable, ultra-shortwave, telephone with frequency modulation, transceiver, with the possibility of remote control and retransmission.
Designed for non-search and non-tuning communication in radio networks and in car radio nodes. Operating frequency range: • R-105M: 36.0-46.1 MHz, 405 operating frequencies Adopted in 1967 as a replacement for the R-105D.
Radio stations are knapsack, simplex, assembled according to a transceiver circuit on subminiature rod lamps of version B, transistors and semiconductor diodes. The receiving part is a superheterodyne with one frequency conversion. Provides remote control over a cable up to 500 m long and work as a repeater in radio networks.
Operating mode: telephony with frequency modulation The setting is smooth, the scale is graduated in steps of 25 kHz Frequency range:
R-105M – 36.0-46.1 MHz
R-108M – 28.0-36.5 MHz
R-109M – 21.5-28.5 MHz
- The output power of the transmitter is not less than 1 W Power supply: four KN-14 batteries or two 2NKP-20 (or 2NKP-24) batteries with a total voltage of 4.8 V. Anode circuits are powered by a built-in transistor voltage converter.
Antenna devices: a flexible whip antenna 1.5 m high (Kulikov’s pin) with additional knees for extension up to 2.7 m, a bracket for mounting on board the vehicle and counterweights a beam antenna 40 m long for operation from a stationary position stations: on the move with a short whip antenna – at least 6 km; in the parking lot, with a beam antenna raised to a height of 5-6 m – at least 25 km. Operating temperature range: from -40 to 50 °C Dimensions of the transceiver: 310×325×170 mm Weight of the working set: no more than 14 kg Weight of the complete set with a stowage box: no more than 40 kg -2, mounted in the same housing as the radio. The output power of the UM-2 is 10 W, powered by eight 1.4 V batteries with a capacity of 14 Ah.
