Taskeshu Caravanserai on Google Map
The Taskeshu caravanserai is considered one of the historical relics of the Great Silk Road, connecting Saraichik and ancient Urgench. Archaeologists are especially interested in the secret of the palace, which has remained unnoticed for many years. This palace is located 12 kilometers southwest of the village of Kenbai, bordering the Kyzylkoginsky and Makatsky districts, on the left bank of the Sagyz River. Taskeshu is becoming one of the most important medieval monuments in the region. Archaeologists believe that the palace, built during the heyday of the Golden Horde, was built entirely of adobe bricks.
