The church was built in 1790 at the expense of Princess AF Golitsyna.

It is known that in 1653 a wooden church of the Nativity of Christ already existed in Novoselka, rebuilt in 1707. At the beginning. XVIII century, a warm Alekseevskaya church was erected in the village, however, it burned down in 1730. But in the same year, a new wooden church was built on the burnt place in honor of the same saint – Alexy, the man of God. In 1790, instead of two wooden churches, the landowner Princess A.F. Golitsyna arranged the present stone church in the Baroque style. In 1814 a refectory was added to the temple. The church was closed in 1936, the bell tower was broken, and the building was adapted for storage.

At the turn of the XVIII – XIX centuries. in Novosyolka, a manor complex was built – “a master’s wooden house and a garden with fruitful trees.” In the 1st floor. XIX century, the estate passes into the possession of the princes Gagarins, the last of whom was Prince V.V. Gagarin. It is known that the Gagarins built a vast house here, where there was a rich library, which was later lost.

The manor’s house has not survived to this day – it burned down in the late 1920s. Until now, the ruins of a brick mill, two brick one-story buildings (black and white kitchens) and in the northern part of the estate – a building whose walls were occupied by the House of Invalids, then a boarding school.
