Architect A.Adamini, 1839. Destroyed in 1932, rebuilt in 1987. At the height of the mound is the Main Monument to the Heroes of Borodin, which was laid in August 1837, on the 25th anniversary of the Battle of Borodino. In July 1839, the remains of Prince Peter Ivanovich Bagration were buried at the foot of the monument. The height of the monument together with the cross is 27.5 meters. Its edges contain information about the numerical strength of both armies on the day of the battle.
