Les Goudes is located at the eastern end of Marseille just before the Calanque. It is now annexed to Marseille, but remains apart, and gives an impression of being a small fishing village on its own rather than part of the city of Marseille.
It is a magical preserved place with a small fishing port and a few bars and restaurants facing the sea. If you are a sea food lover you will appreciate the local restaurants! Besides, the view is sublime which makes the dining experience even better.
A couple of interesting facts about Les Goudes:
—> It has been used as a filming location in some films.
—>Some fortifications of the Second World War can be found up on the hill around it.
