Brick church, built in 1857 by parishioners. <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The main volume of the temple is a two-ternary quadruple, in the past completed with a glaucus. The two-tier belfry is connected with the main volume of the two-pillar refectory. There were aisles of the Prophet Elijah and Demetrius the Myrrh-streaming. It was closed in 1941. Kologriv was founded as a fortress on the high right bank of Unzhi next to the Arkhangelsky graveyard. The fortress then stood in a completely different place, upstream of the river and it was called Okologrivye, that is, located at a high ridge, between ravines. In 1778, the village of Kichino was renamed into the county town of Kologriv, Kostroma province.
