US-9 was used in pair with RSB-70 (R-807) transmitters on many types of aircraft and helicopters. The upgraded versions of the US-9DM and US-9DMS were controlled from a remote control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The technical documentation for the US-9 was prepared at the radio-measuring equipment plant in Gorky (plant No. 326, also known as the Frunze plant). In the same place, since 1948, mass production began. It continued until 1980 at several factories, and from 1980 to 1987, small series and individual copies of the receiver were manufactured for special orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1200\" height=\"900\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sy4Lvcu3Ymw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Ranges &#8211; 200 \u2026 500 kHz and 1.5 \u2026 18 MHz, divided into six sub-ranges. Sensitivity &#8211; 3 \u2026 8 \u03bcV (telegraph), 5 \u2026 15 \u03bcV (AM). Intermediate frequency &#8211; 915 kHz. Power supply from the on-board network, either DC 27 V or AC 115 V 400 Hz, through the built-in umformer. In later versions, instead of a umformer, there is a transistor voltage converter. Amateurs put in its place a transformer power supply from a 220 V 50 Hz network. Power consumption from a 27 V DC voltage source is 35 W (according to other literary sources &#8211; 40 W), and when powered from a 115 V 400 Hz mains, the consumption is 50 W. Dimensions \u2014 245\u00d7465\u00d7275 mm.
