Radio receiver US-9 “Solovey” nine-tube medium-shortwave radio receiver, almost an exact copy of the American RCA BC-348 (AN\/ARR-11).<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Which was installed, in particular, on B-29 bombers and on Catalina flying boats supplied to the USSR. US-9 was used in pair with RSB-70 (R-807) transmitters on many types of aircraft and helicopters. The upgraded versions of the US-9DM and US-9DMS were controlled from a remote control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The technical documentation for the US-9 was prepared at the radio-measuring equipment plant in Gorky (plant No. 326, also known as the Frunze plant). In the same place, since 1948, mass production began. It continued until 1980 at several factories, and from 1980 to 1987, small series and individual copies of the receiver were manufactured for special orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
