The Real Alto Cultural Complex is in the 115 kilometer of the Guayaquil-Salinas highway, Chandui Valley of Guayas Province in Ecuador.
This settlement was discovered in 1971. Real Alto is considered one of the oldest examples of an organized village in South America.
The Real Alto Museum invites travelers to experience this ancient culture and discoveries made at the archaeological site. The museum displays interesting photographs and illustrations of the culture and geological history of the area, as well as a 100-year-old house built in the style typical of Valdivia’s culture.
